But most importantly, on this occasion, it will be emphasised that President Kolinda Grabar Kitarović and Zdravka Bušić will be inaugurated on Sunday for the 125th Anniversary of the Croatian Fraternal Union in Pittsburgh. The very reasoning of the said judgment begins with the fact that people from the president’s proximity organised the assassination of John Badovinac, then president of the Croatian Fraternal Union in Pittsburgh, in 1974-1975.
Current President Kolinda Grabar Kitarović has said she will announce her second candidacy after visiting the USA. Obviously, with a visit to the USA and American-Croatian organisations, there is a test of whether he will run for president at all or will abruptly resign, with the HDZ nominating, for example, Davor Ivo Stier.
Kolinda Grabar Kitarović is primarily compromised by her connection with people from former, nominally Croatian, and in fact, from Yugoslavian terrorist organizations which operated on American soil.
Thus, President Kolinda Grabar Kitarović brought her faithful associate, Zdravka Bušić, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, to Cleveland for the fourth annual conference of the Association of American-Croatian Professionals.
Zdravka Bušić also opened the conference. It is an incredible shame for the organisers that they entrusted the opening of this conference to Zdravka Bušić, who was active in the terrorist organisation Croatian National Resistance in Cleveland in 1977, and even to film “Croats – Terrorists or Freedom Fighters”, with a gun in her hand, in some funny, supposedly Croatian military uniform.
Zdravka Bušić was involved in the work of the terrorist organisation through her then husband, Vinko Logarušić. In 1983, he was denied a sentence of imprisonment for terrorism and racketeering, and states, among other things, that he kept explosives in his house (where Zdravka was living with him at the time).
The entire reasoning of the second instance verdict is full of other names with which President Kolinda Grabar Kitarović has been connected either, in person or through secretary of state.
In the cover photo is one of the Croatian National Resistance (HNO-l) members mentioned in this judgment, Stipe Ivkošić, with whom the President made a heartfelt kiss during one of her previous visits to Croats in the United States.
Members of the Croatian National Resistance did not merely target John Badovinac, president of the Croatian Fraternal Union, as a target. They also sent a bomb to the then prominent Franciscan Častimir (Timothy) Majić, former editor of “Danica” Chicago, a man who gathered progressive political expatriates who did not engage in terrorism and thus gave no reason to the Yugoslav repressive regime to declare them Ustasha.
On his 100th birthday, Častimir Timothy Majić made it clear to the Voice of the Council (Glas koncila) that the Yugoslav secret police tried to kill him at the time:
Many came to grief in the emigrant communities from the Communist boot. Over seventy people were murdered by the UDBA (Yugoslav secret police). Among these was Križan Brkić of Los Angeles, president of the Croatian Association of Los Angeles. I myself received a package bomb. This suffering at the hands of Communist, then, followed me throughout my entire life. Since I was occupied in work for a free Croatia, their threats were constant, and my friends and associates were murdered. My generation suffered this its entire life. I hope and pray to god that this time is behind us all. And may it happen nevermore.

Drago Sudar was also convicted with Vinko Logarušić. Last year, Zdravka Bušić promoted a book about that terrorist (whose name also ties to the Yugoslav secret services), together with Tihomir Orešković, UDBA and KOS contributor in Yugoslavia, Germany, Canada and the US, and the war a criminal in Gospić, Croatia in 1991.
Prime Minister Andrej Plenković intended to send Zdravka Bušić into retirement early in the summer, as it is expected to soon be activated German’s European arrest warrant against Tihomir Orešković in Croatia very soon but Kolinda Grabar Kitarović opposed it. That is why the Prime Minister has sent a new Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman, until recently the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Berlin, the man of confidence from the German Government and the European Commission, as head of his delegation to Pittsburgh.
Some other forces are operating against Prime Minister Andrej Plenković in the HDZ, led by Vukovar Mayor Ivan Penava. The mayor of Vukovar was greatly strengthened Zdravka Bušić and her subordinate Central State Office for Croats for Outside the Republic of Croatia. It was precisely Croatiana Orešković (eldest daughter of Tihomir Orešković), official of that office, who was often with Penava on trips from America to Australia.
President Kolinda Grabar Kitarović, therefore, has far more ballast than Croatian public assumed. And on her own, she is a ballast to Prime Minister Plenković, who has made this her US tour a great opportunity to get rid of her along with all those who are still sticking with her.
